Kiran Lamichhane, Ph.D. (Nepali: डा. किरण लामिछाने), specialized in toxicology, graduated with doctoral degree from University of North Texas, Texas, USA in 2013. He conducted research on the effects of chemical contaminants on life-history traits of an aquatic organism (Ceriodaphnia dubia) over multiple generations. Dr. Lamichhane joined at ABC Laboratories, Inc. as a Staff Scientist in 2013. His expertise includes conducting acute, chronic, and microcosms toxicity studies with agro-chemical(s) to understand the safety evaluation and risk assessment associated on these exposures. Toxicology, Environmental Toxicology, Molecular Toxicology, Endocrine Disruption, Risk Assessment, Data Analysis are some key areas of his interest.

After completion of his master's degree in mountain environment, he joined in New ERA Limited, Nepal as an environmental researcher. He involved over a half dozen of research related to environmental conservation and public health. Dr. Lamichhane also served in Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University, Nepal for two years as a lecturer. He taught environmental economics and mountain environment for the master's degree students and also supervised students for thesis.

In 2008, he was offered an environmental data analyst role in MEL Research in the United Kingdom. He involved to analyze data in a dozen of environmental, recycling, health, and safety research in MEL.

Dr. Lamichhane also garnered extensive field knowledge and experiences. He has traveled more than 49 districts in Nepal. He has presented his research papers in many national and international conferences in Nepal, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
