A "Concorde moment" was a catch-phrase used by BBC's Top Gear presenters to define a precise moment of technical prowess and successful study of feasibility for a certain engineering project. They used it to characterize Bugatti Veyron's unprecedented performance. It takes its name from the Concorde supersonic airliner which set the benchmark for jet-powered passenger flying in the last century.
