Kalo Hojskole

Kalo Hojskole is a Danish Folk Highschools. 60-70 students from 18 years old an up is living at the school. Most students are staying for one semester. At the school international students are following the class Danish Language and Culture. Danish Students are attending classes in the fields of outdoor activities, sustanability or philosophy.

The school is founded in 1952. The school is situated in a forest by the sea and close to an organic farmer school with a lot of international students as well. The area in Denmark is called Djursland.

The headmaster since 2021 of Kalo Hojskole is Kenneth Degnbol
