St Bridget, Mobile[edit]

St. Bridget Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mobile. It was founded in 1864[1] and is located at 3625 West Main Street in the Whistler Historic District of Prichard, Alabama, in Mobile County. American railroading legend Casey Jones was baptized[2] at St. Bridget on November 11, 1886, at the age of 23, in preparation for his marriage.[3]
