UCreate3D is a Hong Kong-based start-up company, founded in June 2012, which provides global 3D printing - also known as Additive Manufacturing - services. Users user-created digital design files, and UCreate3D prints these objects for them or others through its global production network.

UCreate3D is so named as it emphasizes the centrality of the user and it highlights the design and 3D Printing technology which the company relies on.

Logo

UCreate3D's logo, designed in cooperation with Designcrowd, depicts a slightly tilted Elephant. The founders choose the elephant symbol primarily due to its cultural significance in Western and Eastern culture. In Asian cultures elephants are a symbol of wisdom, happiness,longevity and are famed for their memory and intelligence. In many Western cultures, it pertains to reliability, dignity, and strength.
The elephant logo incorporates the abbreviation of UCreate3D "U3D" through the elephant's trunk, legs, and back. The color orange was chosen as it symbolizes creativity, nourishment, and courage. Moreover, it also represents the Dutch background of both the founders.

Slogan

UCreate3D's first slogan, "Share to Inspire", was coined in July 2012.
