Kavya Kadia, a nominee for India's 18 under 18, is a passionate individual dedicated to community building. With extensive experience working with over 15 NGOs in India and internationally, she has a strong interest in grassroots-level development. She has worked in hospitals, and with PhD Scholars from a very young age. Growing up in a multilingual family, she embraces language learning and values cross-cultural interactions.

In her current endeavors, Kavya collaborates with individuals from various countries, including the USA, England, Japan, France, Germany, Mexico, and Nigeria, among others. Remarkably, she published a research paper in a Ph.D. journal at the age of 16, making her one of the few Indians to achieve this feat with only a high school degree. At 17, she collaborated with a Ph.D. candidate from the USA and a Psychiatrist on Schizophrenia. Kavya's expertise also extends to being an editor and reviewer for international journals.

Furthermore, Kavya is the founder of Girl Up પાખં, a community operating under the Girl Up initiative of the United Nations Foundations. Her work focuses on enhancing the health sector in India and making health information more accessible to the public.
