BASKETBALL SPORT.
It is a team sport that involves two teams of five active players each trying to score points against one another by throwing a ball through a 300 cm (10 feet) high hoop (the 'basket') under organized rules. It is played on both indoor and outdoor courts.
BASIC RULES IN BASKETBALL.
- Only five players per team on the court.
- Score more than your opponent to win.
- Score within the shot clock.
- Dribbling advances the ball.
- The offense has five seconds to inbound the ball.
- The offense must advance the ball.
- Ball and ballhandler must remain inbounds.
