I am a business owner with a passion for improving the lives of others through delivering innovative software technologies. I have over 24 years of business experience which provides me with the knowledge to offer insights into how software technology is helping business grow, cut costs and adjust to changing market conditions.

During a time when PC’s were in their infancy in the business world, I believed that PC software was the way of the future. This belief prompted me to start DesignAvenue Software in the UK in 1993. Since relocating the company to Australia in 1995, the business has grown into a successful Australian-based organisation servicing some of Australia’s leading companies across a range of industry sectors.

After experiencing significant growth, DesignAvenue Software was re-branded to Solentive in 2007. This rebranding encapsulated a shift in focus towards solving workflow-based challenges faced by organisations in the medium to large enterprise markets.

As CEO of the Solentive Technology Group, my main role at Solentive is to ensure the company is continually evolving to be at the forefront of software industry trends.

I am particularly interested in topics regarding new technologies and how they can be used in business. I am currently tracking developments in both the cloud computing and mobile space and how devices such as smartphones and tablets can deliver value to an organisation. I am also highly interested in the war between the mobile operating systems and have several forecasts about how it will all play out and what businesses can expect.
