'Dr. Katharine "Kate" Ramsdell is a postdoctoral fellow in clinical psychology in the Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel HIll. She received her BA in Psychology from Hamilton College and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech. Kate’s graduate school research focused on posttraumatic stress in children and adults whereas her clinical interest was primarily in the assessment domain where she trained in multiple clinics performing psycho-educational assessments for children and adults. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Duke University Medical Center where she conducted assessments and treatment with children and adolescents. Currently, Kate’s interests include psychological assessment as well as supervision and training.
