Truck Driver Institute

[edit]

The Truck Driver Institute, Inc. (commonly TDI) was established in 1973[4], supplying commercial driver training[4].  The same institute also offers training in Atlanta[4], Birmingham[4], Gulfport[4], Indianapolis[4], Louisville[4], Nashville[4], Orlando[4], Pensacola[4], Richburg[4], South Bend[4], and Tupelo[4]. Over 15 days students are taught information to take the CDL[5] test.

History

[edit]

Truck Driver Institute ( also known as TDI[1]) was founded in 1973 [1]by the U.S Army Veteran Thomas Gast[1]. Truck Driver Institute is a vocational school[1] that trains adults to get Commercial Driver License (CDL)[1]. Truck Driver institute has 11 campuses across the United States[1]. To verify CDL requirements for each state review the state and federal CDL requirements[6] for insight to each of the 11 states requirements: Atlanta[4], Birmingham[4], Gulfport[4], Indianapolis[4], Louisville[4], Nashville[4], Orlando[4], Pensacola[4], Richburg[4], South Bend[4], and Tupelo[4]. Prior to taking the CDL exam reviewing the updated federal regulations[7] is suggested.
