Hello everyone!

Let me present myself, I am Kanata944. I have been collaborating to Wikipedia since the beginning of 2011. I am bilingual but my mother tongue is French. I am a professional writer and have three books in French to my records! I was born in Montréal and I moved to Ottawa in 1990 and since then I try to brush up my English and I still have work to do. I would like to be as good in English as I am in French. This is my constant challenge. My first work was an article on Christine Charbonneau, the French-Quebec songwriter and performer. It has been a long process, 4 months of research and writings but with 'the help of my friends' I completed it. Then recently I made the English article on Charbonneau. My specialty is French-Canadian Quebec showbizness. The way I proceed now is to circulate into wikipedia around people I know from French -Quebec showbizness and see if I can add some infos or references specially if I am familiar with the artist's career or the event or the place. But some interesting things happen; it is surprising to see how much we know on a subject and how many little infos we accumulate during the course of life. Its a great pleasure to get out those infos!

I am really happy to be part of Wikipedia.
