The dismissal saga
[edit]Employees from the production department made of mostly female general workers and their supervisors came to know their sacking fate on 28 September 2012 when they were informed of the bad news by their affiliated labour unions representatives.Prior to the dismissal, three separate internal disciplinary hearings over the theft which is suspected to have happened during a night shift of 29 June 2012 were conducted over a span of three consecutive months which eventually led to their conviction of the crime by the company. The act did however came as a surprise to some of the workers who are sustaining their clean hands off the crime, thus they deem it as unfair and lack credibility. The company's General Management however could not be reached for comments and clarity on the matter according to some renowned local media institutions who published the news . [2]
