Ramachandran is a reputed Editor and Writer in Malayalam.He did his BSc in Zoology from Maharajas' College,Ernakulam and M A in English Language and Literature from University College,Thiruvananthapuram.He had been with the Malayala Manorama for 20 years as its Chief Reporter and Special Correspondent,reporting Politics.He had been News Editor,The Week.He has attended the training programme for senior editors,conducted by the Thomson Foundation,London.He has two short story collections,and a Novel,PAPASNANAM, to his credit.He has written the history of the Communist movement in Kerala,NAKSHATHRAVUM CHUTTIKAYUM,the political biography of C J Thomas,RASHTREEYA C J and a critique of Karl Marx,ANDHANAYA MARX. He has a popular bi lingual blog,HAMLET IN MONSOON.He contributes reguarly to periodicals.
