Bibliography

[edit]

This is where you will compile the bibliography for your Wikipedia assignment. Add the name and/or notes about what each source covers, then use the "Cite" button to generate the citation for that source.

  • Miss Brocklehurst on the Nile: Diary of A Victorian Traveller in Egypt (Cheshire: Millrace, 2004)[1]
    • This is a published type-script of Brocklehurst's diary, held in the Macclesfield Museum, published by them, so it's definitely reliable.
  • Jean Bray, The Lady of Sudeley (Ebrington, UK: Long Barn Books, 2000).[2]
    • This is a biography of Marianne's sister, which gives some insight into her life.
  • Thelma Whistow, Marianne Brocklehurst: Benefactor, Explorer, Artist: Her Life and Times 1832-1898 (Macclesfield: Macclesfield Museums Trust, 2004).[3]
    • This is a very short biography of the woman herself.
