Buster | Male | German Shepard | Artificial heart | Buster was trained as a police dog, but was dismissed from the program for being too kind and subsequently sent to a shelter. Petunia adopted him despite Tiger Lily's objections. The next day, Petunia took him for a walk, but Flippy saw Buster, flipped out and killed the dog. Sniffles managed to convince Petunia to donate Buster's body as a test subject for the artificial heart Sniffles was developing. The experiment was a complete success: not only did the heart successfully circulate blood through Buster's veins, Buster actually came back to life after the transplant. Buster now lives with Petunia, but has an occasional arrhythmia due to his heart being an early version. |

Flippy | Male | Bear | Becoming extremely aggressive ("flipping out") when stressed | Flippy used to be part of the military, specifically in the army branch. He had three close friends: Sneaky, a chameleon who specialized in stealth attacks; Mouse Ka-boom, an explosives specialist; and James Ford, a private who was still adapting to the rigors of military life. Flippy, Sneaky, and Mouse were sent on a mission to assassinate the enemy general, but due to a mistake on Flippy's part, the mission went horribly wrong and Sneaky and Mouse were killed. Flippy was forced to hide in Sneaky's corpse and went insane from the stress, killing all of the enemy soldiers around him, including the general. Though Flippy survived, the incident left him with post-traumatic stress disorder.
After an undisclosed amount of time, Flippy was kidnapped by a group of prostitutes who had conspired to start the war. Like his fellow POWs, Flippy was routinely tortured and raped, but was eventually saved by various time-traveling characters. Flippy's PTSD had only worsened over his ordeal, and now whenever he's stressed, perceives something that reminds him of war, or feels like he's about to be raped, he runs the risk of flipping out and causing serious harm to others. |
