His second opus, Passion at a Distance (2024), is a space-themed and romantic concept album featuring internationally-acclaimed drummers such as Michael Bland, Gene Lake, Stéphane Galland and Patrick Dorcean. The album cover illustration is drawn by French sci-fi comics artist Caza.

[edit]

Leo Courbot sings and plays various instruments, including guitar and bass. If his music is mainly influenced by 60s rock and 80s funk (critics compare him to Prince and Jimi Hendrix because of his vocal style and guitar playing), he is also inspired by jazz, reggae, latin music and lyric-driven French song.
