Louisvilla is a fictional country/chain of islands/continent located 150 miles northwest of San Francisco, or an enclave of Germany depending on the map area. It has around 50 cities, which are administrative divisions known as Districts or Bezirks. It has the world's 3rd largest economy and the fastest growing population, above South Sudan. It is known for its great relations with the United States, even becoming an autonomous region in 2005 until 2018. It is also known for exporting Solar Power cells to countries, and for being the first developed country to not use automobiles. It also has the most valuable currency.

History

In 1975, West and East German colonists found the Isles and named them "Die Inseln". Just a year later, Americans also arrived and colonized the southern and eastern parts of the country. They then named the area "Louisvilla". However, these people decided to use this island chain as a prison camp, especially East Germans. Around 1979, the people of Louisvilla fought a war against the colonists and won, with UN and American support. The people then voted to become its own country, with a 71.3% vote. In 1982, Louisvilla finally became a country. The rest of the East Germans moved to a northeastern isle.

However, there are still several tensions, such as the 1999 Scottsdale War, where people from the island of Scottsdale, including the leader, Paul Ernst, almost took the entire country, until in 2004, American intervention came in. The people voted to become an American territory with a 54.2% vote. At this time, the existing Parliament system was abolished and Louisvilla basically became very close to a state, with voting rights included.

In 2008, Scottsdale was finally pushed back. Also, the road system was being demolished for a e-bike and e-rail system.

Starting in 2013, Louisvilla began the Ballistic Missile Program (BMP). Due to this, they have built 1,246 ICBM warheads, which 50 are nuclear. They are capable of MIRV, but the missiles are never on first strike. In 2019, they entered Long-Term Storage, but 150 warheads, including nuclear, are on 24/7 Standby Mode. According to Louisvilla Prime Minister of the time (the governor, speech was from 2013), Alexandria Young, she stated "These missiles are in case an attack on this country is imminent. This is not an attack on any country, as Louisvilla is for peace, never war."

In 2018, as Donald Trump threatened war against the country for the political views, Louisvilla did a referendum to decide if it should split. Around 81.2% of the population voted to split away, however still keeping ties to the US. It then reorganized the political system to be more like the United States as well, with an election taking place. James Thompson, founder of the Progressive Party, won around 56.7% of the vote with running mate former Prime Minister Alexandria Young as Vice President.

In 2023, Scottsdale collapsed. During this period, Louisvilla President James was reelected again with a 60.4% vote.

Politics

Louisvilla is organized as close to the United States as possible. However, there are 4 parties. Conservative, Unity (Promoting annexation by the US), Progressive, and Green. As of the 2021 elections, Progressive and Conservative have the most seats, with Unity and Green also having significant positions. All of the mayors and District Leaders are headquartered in the Government building. The current Democracy index score for Louisvilla is 9.89.

The official ideology is Louisvillanese Progression, advocating for "rights for all law-abiding citizens."

Economy

The economy of Louisvilla is classified as a centrist economy leading towards socialism. Although communism and "hard" socialism is frowned upon, all utilities and certain banks are owned by the Government. Capitalism still prevails there, but nowhere near the scale of the US. The main export is solar cells, with electronics being another major export. The Louisvillanese Dollar (LVD) is the most valuable currency, with around $4.56 equaling one Louisvilla Dollar. This is because of SMP (Stop Money Production) programs. During inflation, the dollar stops being produced or is produced less. However, it leads to a 5 week crisis every time. SMP programs are no longer being done as of November 2023, according to the President. Louisvilla is an import-state, importing food from other states, however it is building agriculture towers, which allow for food production.

Military

Louisvilla has a small military compared to most, however, they are well trained and have lots of morale. Also, the United States regularly send military packages to the country, especially since China began to threaten the state. The total count of people serving the Louisvilla Armed Forces is around 83,521, with 426,492 in reserve. This is actually a very high concentration that allowed the state to cooperate with NATO, often reported as the "secret member".
