With a soulful, alternative sound, McClenney music places himself at the intersection of RnB and modern pop, with hints of jazz. His work earned him a 2018 Grammy nomination for his contributions on Khalid's "Location", and his contributions can also be found on H.E.R.'s Grammy winning, eponymous album. The Maryland-native moved to Los Angeles, Califofniz. and has written and produced with some of today’s top R&B, hip-hop, and indie artists that also include H.E.R., Khalid, Xavier Omar, Kyle Dion, Boogie, Smino, Chika, DRAM, Chainsmokers & Kygo, Rexx Life Raj and Marco McKinnis. He's recently been working with Jorja Smith, Flatbush Zombies, Mereba, Baby Rose, Anis, Rhye, Love Mansuy and many more. Simultaneously, McClenney’s independently released 2019 EP, I’m Not Here, has accumulated over 2.1 Million streams on Spotify. He more recently released his LP "On A Virgo Mind". His slow-burning R&B vibe is expected from his fanbase - honest and organic, with a slightly edgier sound that reflects his continual growth as a singer-songwriter, producer, instrumentalist, artist, and DJ.
