One of his major contribitions has been the design and implementaton of a standard template, which is currently use on all the majority of PDL, NPSL, PCSL, W-League and WPSL team pages, and which was intended to give a semblance of order and structure to what previously had been a rather haphazard set of articles. A lot of this work will continue to be done in the offseasons when there is more time to concentrate on detailed things rather than keeping rosters and schedules up to date. The basic factual information comes from various sources, but most often the team’s entry on the official USL site, the official NPSL site, the official WPSL site, and their own official site. The "Competition History" paragraphs are written by Jon in narrative form, using the aforementioned information.
The attendance stats for PDL teams are NOT available publicly; Jon gets them from the regular attendance updates he receives directly from USL HQ in Tampa, as he has been a member of the staff of both the San Fernando Valley Quakes and the Hollywood United Hitmen.
Jon is also very interested in film music, and would like to contribute more to this topic in time. Jon has extensive experience and knowledge of the genre, having been the editor of and main reviewer for the website Movie Music UK for over a decade. He is also a member of the International Film Music Critics Association.
