Ciaran Dickson (born 21 May 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship, on loan from Rangers.

Club career

[edit]

Dickson, a product of the Rangers youth academy, signed his first professional contract with the club in April 2018.[1] Despite apparently impressing within the youth set up, Dickson was reportedly given permission to go on trail with then English Premier League side Sheffield United in September 2020.[2] However, Dickson made his Rangers debut on 29 November 2020 in a League Cup match against Falkirk.[3] On 22 January 2021, he signed a contract extension with Rangers keeping him at the club until 2023.[4]

On 3 March 2021, Dickson joined Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship.[5] Three days later, he started a professional match for Queen of the South against Arbroath in the Championship.[6]

International career

[edit]

He has represented Scotland at various youth levels up to under-19s.[7]
