Sarazino Lamine Fellah(B. Constantine, Algeria. March 3,1970)

Background

[edit]

The musical offspring of musician, songwriter and producer Lamine Fellah. Fellah, a global nomad, who has spent time living all over Europe, West Africa, Canada and now resides in Quito, Ecuador, introduces many of the local feels that he's been exposed to throughout his extensive travel. Sarazino fuses Latin and African grooves, reggae, Arabic music and the flare international pop provides to craft a globalized sound that celebrates everything that music has to offer. After honing Sarazino's sound, since its 1995 creation in Montreal, Fellah attracted the attention of World Music label owner, Jacob Edgar (Cumbancha). Since teaming up with the Vermont based label, Sarazino has released two albums: Ya Foy! (2009) and Everyday Salama (2012)
