Johnny Lopez is a half german half spanish Berlin-based independent pop-music artist, performer, singer, songwriter and producer. His first single release in 2020 "You." debuted viral on TikTok as he referenced his inspirations on the TV Show Grey's Anatomy and captured the audience's attention quickly. Since then he released further singles worldwide such as "Not That True[1]", "Make Me a Drink[2]" and "Nine To Five[3]".
When Lopez was born in Barcelona, the nurses instantly took note of his little fingers; "This boy is going to be a very good pianist", they said, predicting his musical talent. This was due to his first finger movements reflecting those of a "piano-playing style".
Five years later, the son of a German mother and a Spanish father found himself sitting at a piano for the very first time. Since that first encounter, alongside developing skills as a pianist and guitarist, he additionally discovered his passion for singing and songwriting. He timidly withheld his ability from those who surrounded him for a handful of years, until he finally enrolled himself in singing lessons.
