JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind (Japanese: ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 黄金の風, Hepburn: JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Ōgon no Kaze) is the upcoming fourth season of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime by David Production, based on the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga series by Hirohiko Araki. This season covers Part 5 of the manga, titled Golden Wind. Set in 2001, two years after the events of Diamond is Unbreakable, Koichi Hirose is sent to Italy and tasked by Jotaro Kujo to search for the enigmatic son of Dio Brando, Giorno Giovana, protagonist of Golden Wind and an aspiring mafia gangster. The series there on follows Giorno as he attempts to make his way through the mob world.
The anime adaptation of Golden Wind was personally announced by series creator Hirohiko Araki at the "Ripples of Adventure" art exhibition on July 21, 2018.[1] The series will be directed by the returning Naokatsu Tsuda alongside Yasuko Kobayashi as the writer. The character designer for Golden Wind will be Takahiro Kishida, and the animation director will be Shun'ichi Ishimoto. Yuugo Kanno returns as composer from previous seasons.[1]
