I work as an adult reference librarian at a public library in New York. I have been a librarian for almost 20 years. Before that I worked as a newspaper editor and writer in Arizona.

I have read the five pillars of Wikipedia and I will follow Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality and notability.

I will treat other Wikipedia editors with respect and civility. I will modify my editing behavior based on problems cited by other editors. I would like other editors to feel free to contact me via my user talk page if I appear to be going against any Wikipedia guidelines.
