This user has publicly declared that they have a conflict of interest regarding the Wikipedia article David Bell (author).

To elaborate on the COI: I know the author but do not work directly with them. I update the page when there are new developments (i.e. a new book being published, relevant developments with already published works, etc.) on a voluntary basis. All of the changes I make are either (a) minor (typographical changes) or (b) factual, independently verifiable, and well-sourced. Any substantial changes will be requested in the proper forums.
