JANWARI is name of the tribe. Many people use Janwari as last name, caste or surname. The current head of this tribe is Mir Khadim Hussain Janwari. Janwari people originated from Baluchistan. They were called the Janwari Balouch. The literal meaning of Janwari is one who own's Jewel. These people were once the richest people of the land of BALOUCHISTAN. Most of the Janwari people migrated from Balouchistan to Sindh Province of Current Pakistan and Rajisthan, India because of the drought in mid 18th Century. They built new towns on the river Indus also called Mehran and Sindhu Derya (river of sindh).
