Jiujitsudo is the art of judo and the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, in their entirety, combined into a singular art.

In other words, to win a jiujitsudo match, one must win the first round (judo) and successfully throw her/his opponent, then the second round (jiujitsu), and successfully submit her/his opponent. If one person wins the judo round and the opponent wins the jiujitsu round, the match is a draw. Players must win BOTH rounds of a match, the throwing round, and the submission grappling round, to be victorious in single-match style. In jiujitsudo tournaments, competitors must win 'best two out of three' or rather, 'best three out of six' if looking at both throwing and grappling rounds, and try to amass as many wins in throwing and submitting the opponent as possible. Tournaments are several-days-long affairs, where you will do two or three matches with one opponent after another, then the tournament champion is the one who has amassed the most judo and jiujitsu wins at the end of the tournament (there's no grand finale Championship fight; every round is the Championship round; they are all equal in importance.

In a jiujitsudo tournament, True Champion status is awarded to anyone who completes the entire tournament without a single loss.
