Jennifer is currently completing a Master of Information in the Library and Information Science stream at the University of Toronto on a part time basis. Her goal is to graduate in June of 2013. Jen completed an honours degree at McMaster University in Religious Studies that was combined with a minor in Indigenous Studies.

After completing her undergraduate degree in 2009, Jen took a year off to relax, save money for graduate school and get married to her long time sweetheart Scott. Jen and Scott currently live in Hamilton where they commute to Toronto for school and work. Jen has paid a subtle tribute to her mother, Linda, by incorporating Linda's maiden name (Cooper) into her user name. Linda has been a constant source of love, encouragement and inspiration in Jen's life. Linda is the hardest working woman Jen knows, which why she aspires to be half the woman Linda is in the future. Her father, Ken, is a retired steel worker and car enthusiast. Ken has worked extremely hard to provide a good life for his family. In 2007, Jen got a tribute tattoo on her back to commemorate her father's retirement, 60th birthday and love for the 1957 Chevy Belair (his first car). Jen gets all her good looks from her father and all her brains from her mother.

When Jen is not studying, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, family and friends. She has a passion for tattoo's, with over 30% of her body covered in grey scale and coloured pieces. She is an avid movie watcher and very disappointed with the recent Blockbuster Inc. closures. It goes without saying that Jen is also a car enthusiast. She currently drives her dream vehicle, a black 2 door 2008 Jeep Wrangler she likes to call Tupperware. She looks forward to getting to know her 0103 tutorial classmates and finishing her first year in the LIS program.
