Biography

Jaysen Ryan was born in Hammond, IN. His father was abusive and his mother divorced him soon after. At a very young age, Jaysen, his sisters, and mother, moved into a house in Sauk Village, paid for by his Grandparents. Over the years Jaysen experienced alienation and humiliation at the hands of friends and school mates, and what started as a promising education, turned into being tardy or absent from school, refusing to do homework, and a general dislike for every one he met.

He was in High School for 2 months when he turned 16, and he begged his mother to sign him out of school. She did. After 5 years of unsuccessful jobs, severe depression, over eating, and laziness, Jaysen ended up finally getting his GED and Driver's License. He met a very wonderful guy who he fell in love with. He moved out of his mom's and into his older sister's.

"Music has always been the perfect outlet for me," Jaysen confesses. "It's all I had that gave me hope there is something better for me. I spent a lot of time practicing singing and writing lyrics. Eventually I began to write my own music as well. This Demo CD I;m working on is a testimony to everything I've ever done or been through. I'm really proud of it."
