Jason Ward is a Chicago based recording engineer/producer/musician. He has recorded and mixed numerous musical projects spanning the last 10 years including: Arcade Fire Live DVD, Am Syndicate "Empire" (Austin, TX), Big Buildings "Water Everywhere" (Chicago, IL), del rey-various albums (Chicago, IL), Drums and Tuba-various albums (New Orleans/NYC), Hotel Brotherhood (Chicago, IL), L'Altra "Different Days" (Chicago, IL), New Fangs-upcoming album (Seattle, WA), Paul Newman-various albums (USA), Reflections-upcoming album (Austin, TX/London, UK), [[Rhythm of Black Li nes]]-various albums (Austin, TX), Sting-live DVD (UK), Slint-upcoming live DVD (USA), Taking Pictures-upcoming album (Chicago, IL).

He is also a long time live sound engineer who has worked over the last 12 years for many rock bands including: Superchunk, Sleater-Kinney, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Lambchop, Yo La Tengo, The Spinanes, Barkmarket, Brainiac, Versus, Spoon, Guided by Voices, Elliott Smith, Quasi, Seaweed, Social Distortion, Mudhoney, Sebadoh, U.S. Maple, The Delta 72, The Offspring and many others.
