The Spectrum

'The Spectrum' is the Xenia Christian High School magazine produced by the Journalism class. The class is taught by Mrs. Autumn Zakes.

The Journalism Class

The Journalism class at Xenia Christian, consists of 8 upperclassman (2 Juniors and 6 Seniors), and a class adviser.

Students interview for positions at the beginning on the class. Positions include:

  • Editor and Chief
  • Design Editor
  • Copy Editor
  • Project Manager
  • Community Director
  • Global Events Editor
  • Sports Editor
  • Public Relations Specialist

The Magazine is created using Gimp and InDesignCS4 programs.

History

The Spectrum was established in 2007, along with the Journalism class at Xenia Christian. The first issue being only 8 pages is still available online for you to view.

Do to some financial burdens, The Spectrum is no longer printing to the general public. I does remain online for free viewing. Just clickon this months issue cover (large in center of the web page) and browse our magazine.
