Jacob Ming-Trent is an American stage and film actor. He is a frequent performer in productions of the Public Theater, both at their Astor Library home and at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. He is perhaps best known for his roles as Falstaff in the 2021 stage performance Merry Wives[2] and as Panda in the 2019 limited series Watchmen,[1] and he was one of many Broadway stars with cameo appearances in the series Only Murders in the Building.[3]

In 2015, he won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play[4] and is was a 2022 nominee for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Play.[5]

Ming-Trent was born in Boston[1] or Pittsburgh[6] and raised in Philadelphia.
