[edit]1968, October 6: Yvonne Carlock gave birth to James William Carlock on Sunday morning, October 6, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. Born to his mom, Yvonne Carlock and his dad Brent Carlock on that day, James learned quickly how to swim and how to stay warm in the snow-filled city of Chicago, Illinois.
His dad, Brent Woodrow Carlock ended up fighting in the Viet Nam war during his early years.
1970: His mom, Yvonne Carlock gave birth to Michael Carlock, his brother.
1971: His mom divorced her first husband.
1976: His mom remarried to a man named Donald Ervin.
1978, July: His mom gave birth to his first sister, Kathileen Elizabeth Ervin.
1986: James earned a high school diploma from J Frank Dobie Senior High School in Houston, Texas.
1994: James earned an Associate In Arts Degree from Saint Petersburg College in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
