About me

[edit]

Welcome to my user page! My name is James, and I am a huge sports fan. I live in Buffalo, New York. I am a fan of the Bills, Sabres, Bisons, and Blue Jays. Please excuse me for my rough work. I am fairly new to Wikipedia. I have a lot of goals here on Wikipedia, and I want to become extremely active. I am a Yankees hater, so if you are a Yankees fan, I'm sorry. I know the majority of people in Western New York are Yankees or Red Sox fans, but I kinda like the Red Sox. This includes many of my friends in real life.

What do I do in my spare time?

[edit]

I used to play for a recreational baseball league (I aged out not too long ago because of insurance reasons with the league, other info is below), I attempt to get my high school diploma, and continuing to attend classes. I plan on becoming an assistant coach for the league that I used to play for. And of course, being here on Wikipedia. I edit pages (including this one) to the best of my ability and I would like to help out others that are new to the wiki. I try to update my user page on the daily to prove I am active. Also, if I did the incorrect thing, don't hesitate to talk about it on my talk page. Like the userbox at the top of the page says. I am going back to school, so I am going to be a bit inactive (most likely) on most days of the week.

My wish list

[edit]

- Sabres winning the Stanley Cup. (Let's be real here, this is never going to happen.)

- Bills winning the Super Bowl (Vince Lombardi Trophy).

-Graduating high school. (cross that one off the list!, accomplished 6/28/2019)

-Hoping I can do well in life.

-And of course, contribute to Wikipedia where I plan to edit pages on an everyday basis. Well... almost.

Articles I created or expanded

[edit]

On August 19, 2018, I created/expanded the Wikipedia article for former Toronto Blue Jays and Miami Marlins pitcher Justin Shafer. He made his MLB debut that day. The Blue Jays were playing against the Yankees.

On November 11, 2018, I created the Wikipedia article of former Buffalo Bills and current Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Levi Wallace, who made his NFL debut that same day. The Bills played against the Jets.

On January 1, 2019, I created the first submission article for the 2020 NHL Winter Classic. The Dallas Stars were announced as the host of the Winter Classic for that year's game on that very same day. My first submission request for this article was approved.

On December 17, 2023, I created the Wikipedia article for the Bills–Chiefs rivalry, which I intended on expanding after a previous user's draft on the subject was declined due to little information on it.
