There are four intertwined databases.

  • fields: author, coauthors, editors, others, title, publisher, origdate, url, urlformat, date, wikilink, accessdate, isbn, series, language, oclc, doi, additional_id, edition, volume, issue, journal, chapter, chapterurl, pages, comment, verification
  • author, coauthors, editors, others are linked to Authors database
  • publisher is linked to Publishers database
  • journal is linked to Journals
  • isbn is automatically converted into well-hyphened ISBN-13 when an item is saved
  • comment is just to comment on the quality of the database entry etc., i.e. not directly linked to the reference
  • verification has three options: not verified, verified and complete+verified.

Authors

fields: name, firstname, wikilink, alias

alias is a pointer to another author item, which contains the full (or the correct) information about this author. This is inteded for acronyms, existence of several transcriptions etc. Example: item A has alias=B. Whenever item A is requested (for export of citations etc.), the values of B will be shown.

Journals
