This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

[1] **Mary-Elizabeth Brown** is a Canadian violinist, educator, and innovator known for her contributions to classical music performance and education. She has performed as a chamber musician[2] and soloist across North America, Europe, and Asia.[3] She is the featured violin soloist in the Mozart Effect recordings released in 2016, [4] as well as in the recording of John Burge's Flanders Fields Reflections that won the 2009 Juno for Best Composition. [5]
Brown currently serves as the concertmaster of OPCM in Montreal,[6] and has served as concertmaster for a number prominent Canadian ensembles including Sinfonia Toronto,[7]McGill Chamber Orchestra and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra.[8]
In 2012, Brown founded the *AVIVA Virtual Young Artists Program*[9], an online pre-college music education program for young violinists. She was named a Teacher of Distinction by the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2020.[10]
In addition to her work as an educator, Brown is at the forefront of innovation in classical music, leading projects to develop low-cost, 3D-printed violins aimed at making music more accessible to young students[11]. Her work in music technology has garnered international attention.[12]
Brown holds advanced degrees from the University of Toronto and l'Université de Montréal.
