The tro che (ទ្រឆេ) is a member of the tro family of Cambodian fiddles. Like most of the other members of the family, it is a two stringed instrument. It can have a body made of either a coconut shell or a hardwood resonating cylinder. What distinguishes it from the others is the skin soundboard, which is made of snakeskin.
