Retied early ( due to ilness ) senior lecturer of Industrial Engineering, Born on September 6 1947. Senior Lecturer (retired) Rubinovitz was a Senior Systems Analyst at the Israel Ministry of Defense Computer Center Mamram (1969--1973), and a Senior Systems Analyst and Product Manager at Control Data Israel (1973--1983). Following the completion of his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, he spent one year as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering of The Pennsylvania State University (1987--1988). In 1988 he joined the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion. He was Head of the Robotics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing Lab at the Faculty. [1] [2] [3] He also taught Industrial Engineering at the Tel-Aviv University (2003-2004). He retired (early) from the Technion in 2005 becouse of an illness (a brainstem glioma).
