some areas that I believe are lacking in this article are the causes of deforestation. I believe these areas can be expanded upon as they seem rather brief to me. Overall the writing does seem neutral. The article also does a good job with citations. After looking at some of the citations they seem rather reliable. I believe ill be able to add to the overall article but I believe I can really add to the causes of deforestation portion the most.
Urbanization
Human population size is estimated to grow up to about 9 billion people by 2050.[1] This will result in an increase in land needed to sustain a population of this size. cities and living areas for humans will need to become bigger which will have a direct affect on forests as they will be removed to make room for the quickly expanding human population.
