Blangiardi played football at university of Hawaii and Boston college. He then moved on to go the US Navy to fight for our country
He then earned his degree in Hawaii for arts com. Blangiardi has two sons and one daughter and five grandchildren. He lives with his wife Karen Chang in Honolulu. Blangiardi played football at university of Hawaii and Boston college. He then moved on to go the US Navy to fight for our country. He is also a board member of a YMCA, American Red cross, and Hawaii food bank.
From 1972 to 1976 Rick as a assistant coach for the Rainbow Warriors and was also the defensive cordinator.
