Empire State College

Empire State College (ESC) is one of 13 liberal arts and science colleges within The State University of New York (SUNY). The College awards associates, bachelor's and master's degrees. It is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Universities.

Empire is administered from Saratoga Springs, New York but it does not maintain a central campus or dormitories. Rather, through seven regional centers and subsidiary units, the College remains accessible to the majority of New York State residents.(http://www.esc.edu/esconline/online2.nsf/html/newyorkstatelocations.html) In addition to its, Jr. Center for Labor Studies in Manhattan operates a major associates degree for union apprentices as well as studies and degree programs for others having an interest in labor movemets. The Center for Distance Learning Center, makes it possible for students to take courses and earn degrees through on-line study. Students enrolled in The Center for International Programs , in Athens and Thessalonika (Greece),Prague (Czech Republic) Tirana (Albania) and Port of Spain Dominican Republic are given the opporuntiy to earn SUNY college degrees without attending studies in the U.S.
