Joe Suba is an American actor from Harlem, NY. With no acting experience or training, he was discovered while working out in a small Harlem boxing gym by Director Brian Clyde for renowned film producer, Roger Corman. He was scouted to play a boxing extra in the film, Rage and Discipline, but instead was cast as the lead role and became Associate Producer of the film. He went on to do supporting roles in four more Corman films, and 13 films altogether. In 2008, he starred in Opium War, by Director Siddiq Barmark, who also won a Golden Globe for his critically acclaimed film Osama (2003). Shot entirely in Afghanistan, Opium War won Best Foreign Film in the 2008 Rome International Film Festival, and Suba won best actor in the Kish International Film Festival. His most recent film is Operation Rogue, a Corman film opposite Marc Dacascos, Sofia Pernas and Treat Williams, released in September, 2014.[1]
