Welcome to my user page This page has been created for my assignments at the University of Hull, Scarborough Campus.

Introduction

[edit]

My name is Jevgenij, at the moment I am a BA Digital Media student in his last year of studies. I have always been interested in Hollywood and how people make 'magic' in movies, that is why I have chosen beautiful Scarborough campus, thought it could be a good place for studies and a good rest from a big city life.

Student Life in Scarborough

[edit]

Scarborough is a small town located on Yorkshire coast that has an old British history. It is a good place for studies because there are not that many expenses and it is small calm town. Public Transport is probably the biggest saviour. During my time in Scarborough I have met many nice young intelligent people who become my good friends and will leave great memories after.

Academic writing

[edit]

Academic writing is an important part of my studies because through writing, I can express myself more in depth. University library has provided me with all materials I need for my academic writing as well as many other useful sources.

My assignments

[edit]

In three years at the university, I had to produce a lot of academic paper work that should have helped me to find solutions and answer questions. Wikipedia editing is one of my assignments and it is an interesting experience to be an editor and share my ideas with another wikipedians.

Wikipedia assignment

[edit]

For my wiki assignment topic I have chosen Uncertainty reduction theory by Charles Berger (academic). I have picked this theory because in my opinion it has many interesting aspects that could lead to an interesting conclusion about, how people interact with each other online. I am enrolled into Education Program:University of Hull/Psychology of Internet Behaviour (Spring 2014) class where together with my group I can discuss my topic.
