Exagenica (/ˈ[invalid input: 'ɪgz']æ[invalid input: 'd͡ʒi:'][invalid input: 'nɪ'][invalid input: 'kə']/ Ex-ah-gen-ik-ah) is an Anglo-Irish, multinational technology company headquartered in London. The Exagenica group is divided into two primary business units: Applied Research and Technology Services(GTS). As an applied research and development company, Exagenica seeks to commercialise innovation through R&D activities – often targeting complex and societally important globally challenges. The company also provides a comprehensive suite of technology services and solutions to a diverse corporate client base globally. Exagenica works alongside its clients in a trusted technology advisor capacity, through which it aims to direct its clients towards achieving optimal deployment of technologies. Exagenica refers to this as ‘technological-velocity’.
History
[edit]Exagenica was founded in 2012 as a thematic, applied research company. The company was incepted as a Skunk Works initiative to bring to market innovations which were designed to address future societal challenges – many of which deemed existential. The company has a rich history of working collaboratively on R&D programmes with some of the world’s most prestigious universities.
Products & Services
[edit]Exagenica offers its global clients a broad and diverse portfolio of innovative technology solutions and services. As of 2021, these offerings fall into the categories of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, Internet of things (IoT), IT infrastructure, automation, digital workplace, regulatory compliance and cyber security. Technology consulting services also represent a key offering by Exagenica.
Research
[edit]Research has been a core focus of Exagenica's since the company was founded. Exagenica’s rich history of applied research is why it is described as a technology company, rather than just an information technology (IT) company.
HYDRA is one of Exagenica Research’s flagship R&D initiatives, which seeks to realise a technology aimed at increasing global water security - by providing nations (both developed and developing) with an alternative to desalination. Submit a picture of HYDRA?
PANDORA is another one of Exagenica Research’s projects which comprises the development of a collapsible shipping container. The project aims to reduce the climate change impacts of empty storage containers and the disparity in global goods shipping trade between east and west.
Brand and Reputation
[edit]The name Exagenica combines the latin terms ‘Genic’ and ‘Exa’ which together, express the importance on which the company places in the quality of the people that it employs. Exagenica’s ‘XXXXX’ and ‘Split Hexagon’ logos are a key part of the company’s brand. The company’s corporate slogan is ‘Realising The Future’ which depicts its ambition to achieve technological innovation that is commonly associated with futurism.
