This is the account and user page for Henry Andrews. I used to mostly make occasional edits to comic-book related pages, but have been working on the phylogenetics of echinoderms and sometimes other early deuterostomes.
Comics Research Work
[edit]Since I work primarily on comic-book related articles, the following is provided to establish my areas of expertise (and lack of expertise) and to disclose potential conflicts of interest. If anyone feels that it is too self-promotional, please comment on my talk page and we'll work it out by condensing sections, removing details, or whatever.
Online
[edit]- I have been affiliated with the Grand Comics Database for several years, with contributions focusing on publication data from the U.S. Golden Age. Currently, I am simply a member, indexer and technical contributor, but I have held the following positions in the past:
- Editor, Early 2008 - Late 2010, subsequently Editor Emeritus
- Lead Programmer, Late 2008 - May 2011 :)
- Member of the Board of Directors, December 2008 - May 2011
- Rules/Policy Coordinator, June 2010 - May 2011
- I have uploaded scans of several of my public-domain comic collection to the Digital Comic Museum
