Hello, thank you for visiting my page.

[edit]

About me.

[edit]

I am a college student taking an english class. I’m interested in d&d, artwork, and videogames. I am a novice world builder and am hoping this class will help me write a better world. I’ve got to say, Washington is a lot greener than when I was young, and a lot less irradiated.

Wikipedia Interests

[edit]

My wikipedia interests are time travel, history of Washington, insecticides for the mutated murder hornets[1], and aluminum manufacturing for mass produced hats. I’m hoping to research these topics before I inevitably return to my home, when I won’t have the internet anymore.

Article Evaluation

[edit]

I visited the stone paper article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: citation quality, age of the information given, and the structure and completeness of the page.

This essay is a wikipedia article evaluation of the page on stone paper, an alternative to wooden paper. This essay evaluates the citation quality, the age of the article and its citations, and the overall structure and completeness of the page.

Each fact on the wiki article is cited, though there is one sentence at the beginning of the properties heading that requires citing. The sources are unbiased and talk about both the benefits and the drawbacks of stone paper. Of the 13 sources listed two lead to pages not found and one leads to a very sketchy website, but the rest lead to reliable sources.

The article is up to date, with the most recent edit being from January of 2021. The citations range from 2018 to 2021 with a few outliers from 2013.

Nothing that should be there is left out of the article although given its length and the extensive detail given from the citations more could be added towards it. No viewpoints are over or under represented in the article, all points in it are neutral and unbiased. There are no irrelevant sections in the article. All the information is on topic.

Though it lacks in overall size, it is an overall well presented wikipedia article. No biases, straight to the point, and good citation. The structure is well put together and informs the reader of the topic, and the information is up to date.
