I would add more information about sequence determination, specifically about how electropherograms work and how gel electrophoresis was used in the past. I think this is important because the section talks a lot about why sequence determination is important, but not much about how it is done. Additionally, there is an image of an electropherogram printout without explaining what an electropherogram is or how it is generated.
