Irina Pruidze (ირინა ფრუიძე) was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1976 in the family of Vazha Pruidze (Physicist and Aida Dzvelaia (Chemist). She studied Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University and Psychology at Tbilisi Institute of Anthropology and Political Science. At the moment she is PHD student at the Psychology Faculty of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Programme of the Organisation Development and Consultancy). Irina Pruidze is a President of Georgian Organisation of the Scout Movement and Chairman of the Eurasia Regional Committee of the World Scout Movement. She has a husband David Velijanashvili (Theater and film actor and radio journalist) and daughter Salome Velijanashvili.
