DES: I hope I am doing this correctly.

My six students and their projects are thus:

Comments and advice

[edit]

Ipunnett, I have added some links above, and placed the items in a bulletted list format.

I urge everyone involved here to read Wikipedia's golden Rule, Your First Article, Referencing for Beginners, Notability, Identifying reliable sources, and Verifibility. Amanda should also read WP:MEDRS, as medical topics must comply with this stricter sourcing guideline.

I urge that all new articles for this project be created via the article wizard in Draft: space, under the Articles for Creation project.

You can alert me on any talk page by placing {{ping|DESiegel}} (which will render as @DESiegel:) on the page as part of a comment signed with four tildes (~~~~). If the comment is not signed, this will not work, see Wikipedia:Notifications for more detail. Or yoiu can get my attention by posting to User talk:DESiegel. That is "my" talk page, used for communicating with me on-wiki.

All of the students should register an account promptly if they don't already have accounts, and should post their user names on this page, please. Then i can follow their contributions. Note that some features are only available to registered users, and some only to autoconfirmed users (who must have had an account for at least 4 days, and made at least 10 edits to Wikipedia from that account). I urge all of you to always log in when editing.

Note that in editing, but particularly in creating new articles, even new stubs, it is vital to provide independent reliable sources to support statements made in articles (see above). Without such sources, the article may be deleted.

I look forward to working with you. DES (talk) 10:17, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
