User:InsideoutBot
This user account is a bot operated by Nick (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. This bot does not yet have the approval of the community, or approval has been withdrawn or expired, and therefore shouldn't be making edits that appear to be unassisted except in the operator's or its own user and user talk space. Administrators: if this bot is making edits that appear to be unassisted to pages not in the operator's or its own userspace, please block it. |

InsideoutBot will be a VB6 bot that replaces external links to Wikipedia pages with internal links
In this example the bot would replace Main Page with Main Page in an article. The bot can, if so desired, do more interesting things, such as checking to see if the link it is repairing leads to a disambiguation page and tag the article to be cleaned up for that reason.
This bot will, when constructed, run continually and is expected to make around 72 edits per day, around 1 edit every 15 minutes, though this does depend on how many edits it has to fix.
